St Benedict's Bursary

The provision of Bursary Places to deserving students is central to St Benedict’s School's mission. Our Bursary programme ensures we can offer a range of financial assistance to deserving young people who otherwise would not be able to access a St Benedict’s education.

Our ambition is to have a full and diverse mix of students attend our School without discrimination due to their financial background.

As part of our 120th year celebrations in 2022 it is our hope to raise £120,00 for a fully funded bursary place to take a student from year 7 right through to year 13.

Why Your Support Matters

"When I was a teacher at the school for almost four decades, I thoroughly supported the Bursary scheme. It gave me the opportunity to nurture the academic development of pupils who otherwise would have been unable to attend the school. Furthermore, such students contributed to the development of others, as they were universally bright and well-motivated. They therefore helped to stimulate intellectual debate and to foster a positive learning environment in the classroom, providing benefit for all."
